Comments: From the booklet by Graham Cameron, included with the deck:

"Think of yourself as an actor, placed in a theater at the time of your birth. You have been invited to join the millions of other actors around you, to take your place at the Phantasmagoric Theater. Every scene has been assembled for your performance. The script has been written and your cues are in order. If nothing goes wrong, you will sail through your performance until the final curtain. But things can and do go amiss - a piece of scenery may become loose, there might be interference in the sound system, or you may feel uncomfortable in your costume. So you begin to make subtle adjustments, and in doing so, cause minor changes to the outcome of the play. These changes may not be noticed until years later. Their messages will be sent out to you, although some may become distorted at the time of their arrival.

As a tarot reader, however, you can connect yourself through a psychic process back to the original script, and become informed of the deviations you may have made to the performance that is your life...."

I sure am glad this guy can draw as his deck is much better than his philosophy about it. This is a creative & whimsical deck. It reminds me of the Wonderland deck, or perhaps the Halloween deck, two of my favorites. In this deck, Wands are Magic Wands, such as your Fairy Godmother may brandish on you if you're lucky. Many of the Wands images seem to be set in magic shows in carnivals, images that strongly invoke the fun of childhood. The Chariot is a UFO looking for fun times. And notice how the two lovers on the two of cups (themselves sitting in a half-cup) agree to drink different things from different cups. I especially like the way the artist used white space on the card. The suit of cups reminded me of the Dixie Cups (disposable white paper cups with hearts on them) of my youth.

A very nice deck. You can have a lot of fun with this.
