Comments: This is a deck of eights. There are eight families, each with eight cards. The families:

Tepi-Aui-Un, the family of Eight Primordials
Pet, the family of Heaven
Aakhut, the family of Fire
Aah, the family of the Moon
Ra, the family of the Sun
Nef, the family of the Wind
Ta, the family of Earth
Duat, the family of Duat

In addition to these 64 cards, there is one additional: Neter Neteru, an expression of the absolute, with no number, similar to the Brahman of Vedic tradition.

This deck is a combination of the Emerald Tablet which hides the secret of transformation, & the Magic Square of Pythagoras, which gives the basis for the numbering of the Neteru, or universe. The book gives the text of the Emerald Tablet (alchemy), as well as Neter, Number & Sound (Pythagoras), with fascinating notes on the sound & meaning of the hieroglyphs. The divination method is based on the Tetractys, an arrangement of the numbers 1, 2, 3 & 4 arranged in a triangle. This is a ten card layout. Each of the 65 cards is fully described. In the appendix, this system is compared to the major arkanas of the tarot. There is also an eight-sided die (looks like two pyramids with their bases stuck together), which, as we should all know, is a classical Greek solid.

A most fascinating deck, one that will repay close study.
