Measurements: 5.25 inches; or 133 millimeters in diameter.
Back of card: Solid navy blue with white crescent moon shape in center.
Booklet included: No.
Publisher: St. Martin's Press. Printed in Switzerland.
Comments: A very adult deck with a feminist slant, which we find refreshing. Numerous cards feature frontal female nudity, sometimes simply to display the female form. One card shows a woman giving birth. There seems to be no male forms in the deck, though the gender of one of the two figures on each of two Aphrodite cards seems vague (deliberately?). Suits are named Blades, Flames, Cups & Pentacles. Major arkana cards relate to feminist concepts. A Coyotewomon card is included as an alternative to the Pan card.
Books: Daughters of the Moon, by Ffiona Morgan. This is more a book of feminist essays relating to the cards, rather than explanations about what the cards mean in a spread, though you will get the idea. While children are mentioned in the book, there is no mention how womyn (sic) come to have them or how they should relate to the sex that enables them to get them, but we're just being cute. Paper, 96 pages. $9.95
